The Vampire is popular with paddlers who want a responsive, highly maneuverable, quick boat which stern squirts. Many squirt boaters use a Vampire on more technical or difficult water, since they are used to pivot turns. The stern is low with relatively straight rocker yet has enough volume and rocker to afford superior upstream speed and maneuverability. Its ease in turning allows it to dance in technical water and provide exciting surf action in complex fast and big waves. There is plenty of foot room and the V-ed bow performs enders andpop-ups. The Vampire can accommodate boaters from 120 to 250 pounds. Since the cockpit is extended, you can lay back for surfing and weight shift control. |
