Paul Schreiner, Sr. has been building custom kayaks for decades. He is passionate about creating “art that you can play with,” as he likes to put it. Paul has been kayaking and building kayaks since the 1970’s. He has volumes of photo albums full of the boats he’s created over the years, and each kayak is uniquely decorated. He loves it when paddlers send him a photo of them out paddling the kayak he fashioned. Paul is truly an artist at heart, even though he will tell you he is a craftsman, but just look at his kayaks and decide for yourself.
Paul’s kayaks not only look hot, they are built ready to handle serious fun. Paul has been constructing squirt kayaks as long as the sport has existed, and understands how the boats are used. He knows what lay ups stand up to the sport. Designers like to work with Paul because they know that he is commited to building tough, beautiful kayaks.
